Lesson fee
The fee reflects the recommended rate from the teaching union ISM, my teaching experience and qualifications, and an excellent student success rate. 
Choir membership
This is payble monthly in advance. It is £7 per week and the amount you pay depends on how many rehearsals there are in a month. For example, October 2023 has 4 Wednesdays = £28, and November 2023 has 5 Wednesdays = £35. 
Accompanist Fees
This is the fee for accompanying my singing students in their exams. I am unable to accompany anyone other than my own students. 
Books and Resources
You may need to buy your own books and other resources including a folder for your music. Please budget for this. The cost varies depending on what you are learning. We will discuss this in your first lesson.
What the cost includes
If it sounds like a lot of money then it might help you to know that, in order to give you excellent teaching and service, it not only pays towards the time I am teaching you but also working for you. I create various resources to help you learn, and this takes time. I buy music books, and they don't come cheap. I also purchase some items for you to use, for example notebooks, manuscript paper. I keep written reports of your progress and you are welcome to see these any time you wish.

Payment for Lessons
Lesson are payable by invoice in advance. Payment can be made by online, bank transfer, or debit card.
Once payment has been made no refunds will be available.
If you have agreed to have lessons and confirmed this verbally or via email you are liable to pay, even if you cannot attend at a later date.
Cancellation Policy
There is a strict 24 hour notice of cancellation, otherwise full payment will be due.
If you are unable to make a lesson for any reason, and have not mentioned this at the time of payment, no refunds are available. You may be able to change your lesson time as mentioned above.
